One of those lyrically focused songs with straight emceeing and no hooks. The video initially started off as a test shoot that I've been wanting to do playing with smoke under a spotlight. It was a random Saturday night before Vanz' birthday when he came up for a visit as well as to have some isolated time from his own place to write. We eventually ended up in one of those "why not" situations and shot this video for "Tobacco Packs" since we had Vanz, Deao5, me and my cam, and cigarettes. My mans Brendan and I were talking about OBEY PRINTS not too long ago, and we were kinda confused on where Shepard is taking his work. After that whole OBAMA thing, my mans went haywire on the portraits. Don't get me wrong, some of his recent propaganda stuff has been on point, but in the past when he used iconography, his subjects came from left field (Public Enemy, Henry Rollins, Angela Davis etc.) and personally I feel he's getting predictable. There's nothing wrong with that. These MAY DAY portraits of Jean and Keith give me a feeling that Shepard is trying to use his celebrity to teach the "FANS", that is a dope goal and that makes sense, but what about the dollars?

That feeling of confusion and disappointment could have been avoided by just taking a little more effort into making the pizza. Think of it as "Quality over Quantity". That's the feeling that can be translated in all relationship situations. Make sure what you have done is appreciated and reciprocated.
There's a pizza shop on every corner, Dig? Finding a spot that's consistently good, that can nurish your body, that's on you.
