ALADDIN'S CASTLE, ARE YOU SERIOUS?!
I don't know how to feel about an actual interviewer shouting out VA BEACH harder than NERD. Seriously, the most feel good interview ever, if you are truly from the 757.

If you have never in live achieved the glory of an actual "BRAIN FREEZE", go to SuperK and get one of these. its like the closest thing to Tahitian. on crack. The homie LEX has reminded me of this semi frozen gem. If you get some time, check out the Scholar at work.

MY OFFICIAL PICK FOR SUMMER 08
Yes sir. This is the Official Soundtrack to the Summer. Flying Lotus' Los Angeles has to be one of the dopest albums I have heard since, I dare say Donuts. I mean there is no TRUE comparison to JDILLA in any realm, but this album is on that shit. Very trip, very soulful, very up to par. If you never heard it, remember who told you first: SUMMER BANGER
CLIPSE
OK OK, I know, I've been giving the Clipse a lot of shine in the past couple weeks, and I know that you may be thinking "How this dude gonna go from ERULE to the RE UP in one day". PAUSE, I got this. It's all about VA today. Since the Kuya Tribes Finest took it to JustBlaze in NY (MAJOR SHOUTS TO DELINGER) I have no choice but to show pride in the place I reside.

ERULE. LISTEN UP.
This dude is officially on the milk carton. If any one of you find this dude, smack him so he can wake up and make more music. One of the best songs of the 90's hands down. If you are going to be a one hit wonder, do it like ERULE, or BLAHZY, or even MONA LISA.

FOOTWORK
I've always dug breakdance, luckily, themeandingofdope.com posted this mid 90's session that shows that power moves are cool but style is always better. It's kinda like the whole "you not rocking it right, let me try that hat on" thing.

SERIOUSLY. THE BEST DRINK NEVER TOLD
Tahitian Treat is probably THE BEST fruit punch ever, and nobody knows what it is. It's like the "Enter the 36 Chambers" of fruit punches. I used to find it at the local BP down by Bojangles on N. Hampton, now, nobody carries it. What the fuck? It's not like its Jimmy Hoffa or Kaiser Sosa, but if you found both them muthafuckas you would be happy too. Well if anyone knows where to get it, feel free to let the kid know. I need to stock that shit.
GOTTA ADMIT IT.

This Young Chris song is dope. I try my best not to listen to SP because without dame dash the ROC is pretty worthless. Standing alone tho, the whole crew has been trying to maintain and they have done a decent job of trying to stay relevant. Hov has pretty much became the poster child of what Qtip was spitting about on ATCQ's "buggin out": can't pull the plug on R&B; so to hear State P keeping it moving is cool. Besides its either SP or "BROWN-PAPER-BAG-ZAPP&ROGER-NURSERY RHYMES" that don't mean shit. YUUUUUUU this shit. SMH.

GIFTED UNLIMITED
So I was listening to "Royalty" from GangStarr yesterday, and I thought to myself, "these guys are one of the most under rated duos ever in hip hop". So with that said, I shall post a video that changed my mind set on how I saw people at the time. Back then, it was all about snap backs baggy slacks and the highest top kick you could find and of course "KEEPING IT REAL"; they say that rappers are not role models but I beg to differ. I wanted to be these cats and what they said was etched in stone to me. Back then it was a good thing, because rap was teaching the kids how to escape, learn and live. Now they learn to Lean, Rock, and Snap. Preemo called it out a long time ago: thats the bullshit.

peace.
a bit of advice for my true fam (not for those that dry snitch and act like we cool. p*ssy). don't let anybody take your name. your name and faith is all you have when you die. your name holds weight and tells all who you are. what you do and how you appreciate what's been given to you determins your integrity. never let another soul define who you are. work hard play fair live right. someone sees your progress, and that is the person that will guide you. love and respect your parents and value your neighbors for their worth. live every day as if its your first and plan for the next step. bong.
